Rita Maia is a Ph.D. Student in Developmental Psychology. She has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at ISPA. Her main research interests are associated with social withdrawal during early childhood; parenting behaviors that maintain social withdrawal; parental beliefs that can difficult the identification of behavioral inhibition; and parenting online intervention. She is interested in understanding the acceptability and benefits of an online program targeted at parents of socially withdrawn preschoolers.
