Alejandra earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México in 2019. Her thesis examined the influence of effectiveness in acting together in a coordination task and the probabilities associated with sources of individual reinforcement on social behavior in an animal model, specifically in rats. Subsequently, in 2023, she earned her master’s degree from the Universidad de Guadalajara, Mexico, focusing on behavioral allocation across multiple alternatives. Alejandra’s research uses animal models to understand the mechanisms that govern behavior, with a specific emphasis on choice and behavioral allocation. She is committed to advancing our understanding of these fundamental processes. She started her doctoral studies in psychology at the University of Aveiro in 2023.
