Ana Margarida Pereira holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Psychology of Well-Being and Health Promotion from Universidade Católica Portuguesa. She is an incoming Ph.D. student in Clinical Psychology at ISPA – Instituto Universitário. Her research interests include parental well-being, parent–child relationships, digital parenting, and child socioemotional development. Her previous research examined the role of cognitive-affective and product-related factors in consumers’ intentions and decisions regarding animal- and plant-based food products. She is currently investigating how parental phubbing influences parental availability and children’s socioemotional adjustment, with the aim of better understanding the effects of parents’ smartphone use on family functioning and child development.
