David Guedes is a psychology researcher and professor whose work focuses on food psychology and the promotion of healthier and more sustainable eating habits. His research examines the determinants of food perception, preference, and choice, with particular emphasis on contextual influences such as sensory cues and nutritional information. He has contributed to national and international projects addressing challenges related to plant-based dietary adherence and the reduction of sugar consumption. In addition to his research activity, David has experience in teaching and supervision across different academic contexts and is actively involved in outreach activities that aim to translate scientific knowledge into practice, including collaborations with community and professional stakeholders.
