Diogo Silva is a PhD student that finished his master’s degree in Social Psychology (ISPA) in 2019 where he addressed the process of emotional infrahumanization in mental illness, more specifically, depression. At the moment he is focused on the perception of the stereotype in mental illness and stigma towards it, particularly in depression and schizophrenia. His topics of interest are stereotypes, in-group perception, impression formation via faces and dehumanization. Diogo is also an invited lecturer in Statistical Analysis I and II at Ispa – Instituto Universitário since 2023.
