Maria Inês Griff is a PhD fellow in Health Psychology. Her research project, funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (2025.04115.BDANA), aims to adapt and implement ConquerFear-Group in Portugal, a pioneering intervention designed to reduce fear of cancer recurrence and improve breast cancer survivors’ well-being. This project is developed in partnership with the Liga Portuguesa Contra ao Cancro and the Aarhus University in Denmark.  She has a Master’s degree in Health Psychology from Ispa-Instituto Universitário, which she finished in October 2024. During her master’s thesis, supervised by Prof. Tânia Brandão, she wrote a systematic review about psychosocial aspects in adults with cystic fibrosis. Her research interests focus on mental health, adaptation to chronic conditions, social support, and vulnerable populations.
