Marta Uva completed her Master’s degree in Health Psychology at Ispa – Instituto Universitário in 2024.  Her thesis was supervised by Prof. Filipa Pimenta and aimed to explore the predictors of insomnia (e.g., food addiction,  internet addiction) in Portuguese adolescents. Marta is actively involved in different reseach projects, has presented numerous communications at national and international conferences, published scientific articles and contribuited to the development of book chapters. In 2023, Marta received the Prémio Jovem Investigador de Mérito, at the 15º Congresso Nacional de Psicologia da Saúde. She recently, was awarded a PhD scholarship, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (2025.06125.BD), with the SEED project, which aims to explore, assess and promote engagement in sustainable and healthy behaviours (i.e., sustainable and healthy diets and active transport), among Portuguese young adults.
