Fabiana Rodrigues’s research interest is in clinical psychology and health, with a particular focus on psychological evaluation, psychological intervention, psychotherapy and psychoeducation. Within psychotherapies, she has a special interest in integrative psychotherapy with hypnosis. She is particularly interested in post-traumatic stress, anxiety disorders and autoimmune diseases. Her research interests are aimed at adults and at-risk populations such as firefighters. Fabiana’s current research proposes characterizing the population of Portuguese firefighters, regarding the perception of traumatic events related to the intervention in forest fires. She also intends to study the relationship between demographic and psychosocial variables and to investigate possible attentional biases of firefighters through a behavioral task. Her previous research was on the efficacy of psychotherapy with hypnosis in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus and its interaction with psychosocial variables.
