Bárbara Daniela da Silva Pereira is a PhD student in Psychology at ISPA – Instituto Universitário and a researcher at the William James Center for Research (WJCR). She holds a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from the University of Minho and is a member of the Portuguese Psychologists Association (ID No. 31896). Her doctoral research focuses on judicial decision-making in gender-based crimes, examining how judges perceive women victims and the role of victims’ characteristics in cases of intimate partner violence, rape, and sexual harassment. Her research interests include judicial decision-making, gender-based violence, victimization, and victim representations.
