Carolina is a Ph.D. student at ISPA – Instituto Universitário (WJCR – William James Center for Research), developing a doctoral study that aims to identify, analyze and understand the attitudes of DGRSP technicians towards offenders and their rehabilitation and reintegration in Portugal.
In 2015, she won the SummerCamp Academy from the OPP (Psychological Association of Portugal) and an international internship in Luxemburg, where she and her colleagues conducted a project study. She finished her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2017 and wrote a thesis entitled “Psychopathy and Interpersonal Relationships: a phenomenological study”. Concurrently, she was executing her post-graduation in Criminal Psychology.
Afterward, in 2018, she did her professional internship at INFOTESTE. She worked for four years on the psychological assessment of recruitment and selection in several areas, such as aeronautics, traffic psychology and organizations. Currently, she works as a clinical and organizational psychologist, carrying out various activities such as Psychosocial Risk Assessment, Psychological Assessment, and development of awareness campaigns.
She has done several courses and specializations in Criminal, Forensic, Organizational and Clinical Psychology frameworks since 2019.
