Sofia Alexandra Marques Fernandes is a clinical psychologist and Ph.D. student at the University of Aveiro. Her current research focuses on cognitive impairment related to cancer in Portuguese cancer survivors. Her PhD research project, “CanCOG – Cognitive Rehabilitation in Cancer: Study of the Acceptability, Feasibility, and Efficacy of the Face-to-Face Program Format for Portuguese Cancer Survivors,” is funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology, reference number 2023.03752.BD. Sofia’s other research interests include fear of cancer recurrence and post-traumatic growth in pediatric and adult cancer survivors
