Sofia Almeida von Humboldt is a researcher and clinical and health psychologist with long-standing experience working with older adults. Her research interests include aging across the lifespan, sexual well-being, technology and mental health, and cross-cultural studies involving older populations. She is a Researcher and Professor at the William James Center for Research, ISPA – Instituto Universitário. Deeply committed to improving the well-being of older adults, she has authored more than 135 scientific papers, book chapters, and books focused on aging and later life.
