Vasco Vicente Costa is a PhD Student in Health Psychology at ISPA – Instituto Universitário.  He is a Clinical Psychologist, an effective member of Ordem dos Psicólogos Portugueses (N.º 28472), and a Member of Associação Protetora dos Diabéticos de  Portugal.  In this sense, he is particularly interested in studying the psychological factors and processes of adjustment associated with chronic illnesses (particularly, diabetes type 1). In sum, he aims to implement interventions to improve the management and quality of life of these individuals and their parents/caregivers.
