Sofia F. Dias is a psychologist and doctoral student at the University of Aveiro (UA). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Health Psychology and Neuropsychological Rehabilitation, both from the same institution. Her research interests lie in the fields of neuropsychology and sleep medicine, with a particular focus on insomnia disorder. As a doctoral researcher, she is investigating the dynamic aspects of sleep quality and daytime functioning, including cognitive performance and emotion regulation. Her work further examines the potential effects of combining cognitive training with non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) techniques in insomnia. This project is funded by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology (2024.01494.BD).
