Abstract:
When Allport (1935) described the concept of attitude as “probably the most distinctive and indispensable concept in social psychology,” he captured the enduring importance of this construct for understanding human behavior.
Almost a century later, its relevance remains vibrant and continually renewed. On October 20, 2025, we will explore some of the most recent topics in the field of attitudes, in a meeting that will bring together researchers from Ispa – Instituto Universitário, The Ohio State University, and the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, with presentations highlighting the current advances and challenges in this ever-evolving field.
