Abstract:
Since the late 1990’s a large number of studies have confirmed that it is possible to deliver evidence-based psychological treatments in the self-help format and that the effects are larger when the treatment is supported by a clinician. Moreover, information technology has also been used for assessments and social media for recruitment. Several ideas have been tested over the years and also techniques such as virtual reality and smartphone delivery. Now artificial intelligence is increasingly used in society and also in research. In the talk new findings will be presented as well as future directions.
